World Haritage Tour

This package offers you visit to different heritage sites of this ancient country , himalayan panorama from a famous view point  near Kathmandu , a elephant back safari in the Tropical National park of Chitwan and ends with a visit to Buddha's birth place at Lumbini.

In a small country like Neapal , we have ten world heritage sites declared by UNESCO.Eight of them are cultural and two are natural heritage sites.Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal is a medieval city  packed with centuries old temples , stupas  and traditional settlements.There are seven world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley within a periphery of 30 km.

Our tour starts with a visit to Kathmandu durbar square which  houses a great number of ancient and medieval temples and the palace of the living goddes Kumari.Swoyambhunath is a beautiful buddhist stupa believed to be 2000 years old and Bouddhanath stupa is almost 1500 years old .This is an ideal place to see the big number of Tibetan refugees with their Lamas and Rinpoches-a typical Tibetan atmosphere.The visit to holy hindu temple of Pashupatinath provides the opportunity to see hindu worshipping as well  as cremation practice.We see the sunrise and sunset view from the hill in Nagarkot , a spectacular panorama of Himalayas including a distant view of Everest.We Descend from Nagarkot to visit the 5th century temple of Changu  Narayan and the well preserved medieval city of Bhaktapur. It is a journey back to medieval time. In Chitwan we enjoy the activities like elephant back safari, canoe ride, bird watching, visit to elephent breeding centre etc. We finally visit The birthplace of the Buddha in Lumbini and fly back to Kathmandu to end our trip. All the places covered in this itinerary are world heritage sites.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar square, Swoyambhunath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. Overnight at Nagarkot.Enjoy  sunset over Himalaya.

Day 03: Watch sunrise over Himalaya,after breakfast depart for sight seeing of Changunarayan, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Bouddhanath Stupa.Overnight at hotel in kathmandu

Day 04: Drive to Chitwan National Park (6hrs).Rest at Jungle lodge.

Day 05: Elephant back safari, canoe ride, nature walk., Tharu people cultural dance etc.

Day 06: Early morning bird watching.Drive to Lumbini , which is the birth place of lord Buddha(6hrs). Overnight in Hotel

Day 07: Visit Lumbini garden, see the historical remains and archeological objects of interest. Afternoon fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel

Day 08: Fly back  home
