What is included or excluded on tour cost
All our trips on this website are provided with info on what is included or not included on the tour cost of that particular trip.Hence , this page is for the idea of our clients who want to modify or customize the trips on our website , to inform them what will be included or excluded if they choose to extend or customize their trips .This cost information is only for trips inside Nepal as trips in Tibet are generally not easy to customize due to different restrictions in most cases.Note that this is a general guide line to help you plan your trip as we provide more precise info once you provide us the details of your preferences , before booking the trip.Take what we provide you before booking your trip as your final information than what is written here on this page.
The Cost includes:
- Arrival and departure transfer in Kathmandu
- Hotels: Accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara on twin-sharing, bed & breakfast basis .
- Chitwan National park safari programmes: All meals and lodge accommodations on twin-sharing basis, all wildlife activities (incl. elephant-back safari, canoeing, bird-watching & nature walk), National Park entry fee.
- Tea house trekking: All charges for guide, porter, national park fees , permits, accomodation for client in the mountain lodges and three meals a day plus tea coffee.The tea houses/lodges in the mountains can not be booked and given on first come basis.We provide the best among the available .
- Camping Trekking: All camping equipment (incl. two-men tents, mattresses, camp table(s) & stools, camp-kitchen equipment), accommodation in two-/three-men tents, all meals (breakfast, lunch, & dinner, cooked by the camp kitchen crew), services of trek crew (guide, sherpa(s), cook & kitchen crew, porters to carry all luggage & equipment), applicable trekking/ ACAP permit/ National Park entry fees. If required, extra porters for children are provided on our family holidays.
- Rafting:Transfers to and from the put in and take out points. All rafting and camping equipment, including life jackets, helmets and two-/ three-men tents,guide and helpers.Meals as stated in the itinerary.
- In Package tours/sightseeing tours : All guided sightseeing tours and land transfers, hotels on BB basis and meals as indicated on itinerary. All applicable entry fees.
Not included in the cost are:
- Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu or pokhara other than indicated on itinerary.
- Personal clothing & equipment : You can purchase or hire them cheaply in Kathmandu.
- Expenses of personal nature, cold drinks , alcoholic beverages, and tips to the crew.
- Insurance: We strongly recommend that all tour participants be covered by their own personal insurance that also covers emergency evacuation.
- Other unforeseen expenses that may arise due to factors beyond our control, like bad weather or flight cancellations.
- Nepal visa fee.
- Single suppliment charges.
- Domestic and internationl airport taxes($3 and $24 approximately)
- Note : in our itinerary B, L and D stand for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Hotel Choices : If you would like to use a hotel of your preference or upgrade to star or deluxe category hotels, we'll be glad to quote you prices based on the hotel of your choice; in most cases we are able to offer a substantial discount on the hotel's published tariff.
Also note that all our tours can be customized at your request to accommodate your specific requirements .
