Mt Kailash 6741 m , is a black mountain with four sheer walls and snow capped top.The 53 km periphery is the trail for circumambulation around this holy mountain and takes 3 days. The Kora or circumambulation starts at Darchen some 30 Km from lake Manasarovar. After the Kora we drive back to Kathmandu or head for Lhasa for the extended Tibet tour.En route we enjoy great view of world's highest mountains, meet the nomad sheep herders and enjoy the unique beauty of Tibetan plateau.During our trip we travel on 4WD jeep and our belongings are carried on trucks. We sleep in guest houses whereever possible and in tented camps at other places .Food is cooked by our camp cook.
