Ganesh Himal is the mountain range that we see in the northen skyline of Kathmandu. The trek to Ganesh himal is one of the best in central Nepal.A mere 70 km from Kathmandu but the region is visited by very few tourists and offers unspoiled Tamang villages, untouched nature and superb views of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Bouddha himal and Hiunchuli. The trek goes through relatively warmer country and finally crosses Shingla pass 4200m and Pansang la pass 4100 m for closer view of Ganesh himal massif.
