Lhasa has always remained the political, spiritual and economic centre of Tibet. Most  of the important cultural heritage of Tibet are in Lhasa or near from it .A tour of Lhasa is not simply the tour of Tibet's capital but much more. We start our journey by a spectacular flight across the Himalaya from Kathmandu to Lhasa. In Lhasa we visit the holiest of Tibetan Temple Jokhang and the nearby traditional market place of Bharkhor bazzar. Of course we do not miss the famous Potala and Norbulingka Palace of the Dalai Lama. Another important places to cover are the Drepung and Sera monasteries where there used to be upto 10,000 monks in in the days gone.The sights and atmosphere in Lhasa is very different , unusual and unique. With unforgettable memories of Lhasa and its friendly religious people we return to Kathmandu by flight .

Itinerary

Day 1 Fly Kathmandu  to Gongkar; drive to Lhasa.
Day 2 Guided sightseeing tour Jokhang temple and Sera monastery
Day 3 Guided sightseeing of  the Potala & Norbu Lingka.
Day 4 Guided sightseeing tour of  Drepung monastery, Tibetan Hospital and Nunnery.
Day 5 Drive to Gongkar Airport for onward flight to Kathmandu
