Everest Region Trekking
The home of Everest and many of world's 8000 m peaks such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu , and Makalu ,the Everest region is justifiably the most famous of all trekking areas of Nepal.The attractions of this area are the high montain villages , isolated monasteries , pristine lakes, the local Sherpa people and above all superb mountain scenary.Reachable now by a 45 minute spectacular flight from Kathmandu , this region offers some of the most rewarding trekking anywhere in the world.
Two main treks of the region are Everest base camp trek and Gokyo trek.
